These are just a few things I’ve learned about while working at Performance Art NYC, a new digital agency under the McCann umbrella. Learning about new things is by far my favorite part of this strange and fun job. I love peeking into a subculture I never knew existed, messing around with a new piece of technology/social format, or just absorbing random facts to break out on trivia night.
During my career, I’ve had the pleasure of filling my brain at agencies like TBWA, BBDO, AKQA, Pereira O’Dell, and RPA.
Pre-NYC I was in LA working on two of the largest accounts in the country, AT&T and Honda. While out west, I made the Adweek Creative 100 and won awards in categories ranging from branded entertainment to data visualization to VR. Oh, and I also learned about Danny DeVito’s tweeting style (#trollfoot lol), esports, and the mating habits of the North American possum.
Outside of work my favorite thing to do is sit on a park bench and read. Lately I’ve been devouring books about the history of New York City. Hit me up if you need a few recos. I also like video games, cheering for and cursing at the Toronto Raptors, and the all-time classic, beers with buddies.
